1. Who we are
Shutterdeck is a rental production studio at Basement, Plot No. 70, Avenue 77, Sector 77, NH-8, Gurugram, Haryana 122004, operated by YTWC Pvt Ltd ("we", "us"). We are the Data Fiduciary for personal data collected through this website (photostudios.in), WhatsApp, phone, email and at the studio.
This policy follows the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its Rules, and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and related rules.
2. Data we collect
- Contact and booking details: name, mobile number, email, company/brand, GSTIN (optional), shoot type, dates, number of people on set, and notes you give us.
- Payment status: amount, payment reference and status from our payment partner. We never see or store your full card number, CVV or UPI PIN.
- Forms you sign: booking agreement, talent release, guardian consent and media consent forms, including your typed name/signature and date.
- Messages: WhatsApp, call and email conversations with us.
- CCTV: video recorded in the studio for safety and security. Notices are displayed on site.
- Website data: device, browser, pages visited and approximate location, collected through cookies only if you allow them (see section 5).
- Behind-the-scenes content: photos/videos of your shoot, only if you opt in.
3. Why we use it
- To reply to enquiries and manage bookings, payments, invoices and refunds.
- To run the studio safely (CCTV, damage and incident records).
- To meet legal duties such as GST and tax records.
- To send offers and updates, only if you opted in.
- To measure and improve the website and our ads, only with your cookie consent.
- To post behind-the-scenes content, only with your separate consent.
We do not sell your personal data.
4. Consent and withdrawal
Where we rely on consent, we ask for it separately for each purpose with an unticked checkbox. You can withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it: use Cookie Settings in the footer, reply STOP to marketing messages, use the unsubscribe link in emails, or write to us. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already done, and we may still keep data we are legally required to keep.

8. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to: tell you what personal data we hold and how we use it; correct, complete or update it; erase it when it is no longer needed; withdraw consent; and nominate a person to exercise your rights if you die or become incapable. You can also raise a grievance with us, and if you are not satisfied, complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

9. Children's data
Our services are booked by adults. When children appear in a shoot, we collect a parent/guardian consent form before processing the child's data. We do not track children or show them targeted ads, and BTS content featuring a child is posted only with the guardian's separate consent.
10. Security & breaches
We use HTTPS, access controls, two-factor authentication on admin accounts, and trusted providers to protect your data. If a personal data breach occurs, we will inform affected people and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.
