1. About these terms
These terms apply when you book or use Shutterdeck, operated by YTWC Pvt Ltd, Plot 70, Avenue 77, Sector 77, Gurugram, Haryana 122004. By booking you agree to these terms, our Cancellation & Refund Policy, Studio Rules & Damage Policy and Privacy Policy.
2. Bookings & eligibility
The person booking must be 18 or older and is responsible for everyone they bring. A booking is confirmed only after the advance is paid and we send a confirmation by WhatsApp or email.
3. Prices & payment
Prices are listed on our Pricing page and exclude 18% GST unless stated. A 50% advance confirms the slot; the balance must be paid before the shoot starts. Pro equipment from partner rental houses is charged at the rate confirmed to you in writing before payment. We issue a GST invoice for every booking. Every shoot needs a refundable security deposit of ₹5,000, paid before the shoot starts and returned within 48 hours after the studio is checked, minus any damage charges.
4. Booked time & overtime
Your booked time includes setup and pack-down. Late arrival does not extend the slot. Overtime is possible only if the studio is free after your slot, and is charged at ₹2,000 per hour, or ₹3,000 per hour after 7 PM. Shoots after 8 PM carry a night charge of ₹2,000 over the hourly rate.
5. Use of the studio
You must follow the Studio Rules and our staff's safety instructions. On set: the camera team, models/actors and up to 2 client representatives. We may stop a shoot that is unsafe, illegal or in breach of these terms, without refund.
6. Permitted content
You may not shoot content that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, hateful, infringes others' rights, or involves weapons, fire or hazardous activity without our written approval.
7. Your crew, talent & permissions
You are responsible for your crew and talent, for obtaining their releases (including guardian consent for minors), and for any licences for brands, music, artwork or props you use.
8. Ownership of content
You own the content you create at Shutterdeck. Behind-the-scenes content filmed by us is owned by us and is posted only if you opt in under our Content & Media Consent Policy.
9. Damage & liability
You are responsible for loss or damage to the studio, equipment and props caused by you, your crew or talent, charged as per the Studio Rules & Damage Policy. Damage to the cyclorama is charged from ₹2,500 to ₹20,000, depending on the repair needed (touch-up, repaint or resurfacing). To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of personal belongings, or for indirect losses such as lost profits, and our total liability for a booking is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for our negligence causing personal injury.
10. Events beyond our control
We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as power cuts, extreme weather, government orders or emergencies. A basic inverter runs lights and fans; full power backup for equipment is available on request at ₹500/hr. If we cannot provide the studio at all, we will reschedule or refund your advance in full.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Gurugram, Haryana have jurisdiction. Please contact our Grievance Officer first so we can try to resolve any issue.
